Hylife-Ocity's first post pandemic show did not disappoint. "The Love Train to Funk Show" Con Funk-shun performed two awesome shows with Cherrelle, Comedian Dexter Tucker and J-Red as host. Awesome Event!
LADIES SOUL REVOLUTION
The Ladies Soul Revolution to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month was a great show! Headliner Marsha Ambrosias, Aneesa Strings, and Grammy nominated spoken word artist Ryan Nicole with comedian Zainab Johnson.
FROM LONDON TO OAKLAND WITH SOUL
Latoya London's return to Oakland was wonderful. Nate the Soul Sanger performed marvelously with comedian J-Red as host.
THE VALENTINE SHOW
The Valentine Show with Adrian Marcel was "next level" with CRSB Performing and Netta B on an Acoustic Set.
SILK E FEATURING SHEA SUGA AND RYAN NICOLE
Silk E showed us why she's one of the best talented singers/performers to come out of the bay are. Multi-faceted performer with so many levels. She's hip hop, rock, soul, acoustic and salsa all rolled into mosaic of greatness. Accompanied by Grammy nominated artist Ryan Nicole and comedian Shea Suga, the show was an awesome summer beginning for Hylife-Ocity Productions.
J RED AND THE COMEDY ALLSTARS
Hilarious comedian J Red performed with a talented trio of comedians to a full sold out show at Yoshi's Oakland.

Marcus Johnson Jeffery Smith set it off @ Yoshi's Embarcadero, Oakland. Awesome crowd and rich atmosphere. So delightful to see everyone in the Bay Area have an enjoyable evening!

Grammy winner Marion Meadows and Multi-talented Ms. Monet performed to a Sold Out packed amazing Yoshi's crowd.

An awesome Holiday Show featuring the Mary Jane Girls, Rock Box and Comedian Mo Jones. This sold out show was everything advertised. We hope to have Mary Jane Girls Back again in the future!
OUR STORY
Our Philosophy
In 2018 Mike Burdette (AKA DJ Mikah D! ) Formed a partnership With Mike Webster (Original member of the Hip Hop group Digital Underground). "We collaborated and decided that if we could present great live entertainment at Small venues we might support the Bay Area Communities enjoy the richness of live musical performances right here locally." Thus the name Hylife (where Big dreams are made of) and O-City (Where creativity reflects the city and is bountiful) was a great place to start.
